Yohana brings an exceptional 14-year track record of advancing clinical research, healthcare administration, and public policy. Joining ONCOtherapeutics in 2023, Yohana initially contributed to clinical research at Berenson Cancer Center before transitioning exclusively to ONCOtherapeutics in 2024. Her extensive expertise spans from site-level operations to managing operations at the CRO, demonstrating a comprehensive command of the clinical research landscape.
Yohana’s academic journey is marked by a Bachelor’s in Medical Sciences with minors in Global Health Research and Public Policy (Arizona State University) complemented by international research experiences in London focusing on Urban Environmental Health and Global Health Studies. She further honed her skills with a Master’s in Public Health (University of Arizona) emphasizing Epidemiological Research and Public Administration and Policy Management, while concurrently contributing to a Neurological Research Institute in Scottsdale, AZ (Barrow Brain and Spine).
Her therapeutic areas of expertise encompass a broad-spectrum including Oncology/Hematology, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Neurology, Pediatrics, Orthopedics, Allergy, Pulmonary, COVID research, OBGYN, and Otolaryngology.
