Matthew Brobeck joined ONCOtherapeutics in 2023, bringing with him a wealth of experience in clinical research, healthcare administration, and information technology accumulating over a span of 15 years.
Matthew’s journey in clinical research began at the prestigious Huntsman Cancer Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah where he initially immersed himself in information technology. During his tenure, he contributed to the design and maintenance of the Utah Population Database, a groundbreaking resource, and the largest database of its kind globally.
Driven by his passion for making a difference in healthcare, Matthew went on to work on large scale studies funded by the National Institute of Health (NIH) focused on breast cancer and colorectal cancer. These experiences not only honed his skills but also fueled his desire to work with special populations. Matthew had the privilege of collaborating closely with Native American tribes in the Intermountain and Southwest regions, further deepening his understanding of the unique challenges and needs within these communities.
Matthew’s expertise extends across many therapeutic areas, including cardiovascular health, oncology, spinal/orthopedic conditions, stem cell research, gene therapy, and infectious diseases. His impressive track record demonstrates his ability to navigate complex market landscapes and drive growth for organizations operating in these domains. Notably, he served as the Director of Clinical Research & Affairs at one of the most successful COVID-19 startups in the United States, where he made invaluable contributions to the fight against the pandemic.
